Times-table sprint: one table or mixed, timed to a tenth of a second
For parents and teachers of children in Years 2 to 4. Pick the tables your child is learning; they answer on this screen with a number pad, every answer is marked at once, and any they miss come back at the end. Free, no sign-up.
How to use it with your child
- Tap the tables your child is learning. One table in order (7 × 1 to 7 × 9) suits a table they have just met; a shuffled mix suits revision.
- Tap Start on this device and hand over the screen. The clock starts with the first number typed.
- Each right answer gets a red ○. A wrong answer shows the right one for a moment, and that question comes back at the end of the set.
- At the end you see the time, how many were right first time, and which facts were missed. Fix the ones you missed gives those again.
- Try the same set on a few days in a row. The personal best is kept on this device, so your child races their own time, not anyone else's.
Which school years it suits
Japanese children learn 九九 in Year 2 (小2) and Korean children learn 구구단 in Year 2 (초2). Singapore covers the tables from P2 to P3, and Taiwan in Year 2 (小二). Use 12× for children who have met the 11 and 12 tables.
Why missed questions come back
A fact your child got wrong is the one most worth practising, while it is fresh. Bringing it back at the end of the same set, rather than starting over, keeps the drill short and ends on a fact they now know.

Questions parents ask
In order or shuffled?
In order while a table is new, because children lean on the rhythm of chanting it. Shuffled once they know it, to check they can recall each fact on its own.
Does it go up to 12 × 12?
Yes. Choose × 12 and the 10, 11 and 12 tables appear. Japan and Korea stop at 9 × 9, so that is the default.
Can I print a sheet instead?
Yes: Print sheet makes the same questions as a numbered list in A4, B5 or Letter, with the answers on a second page and a QR code that opens them on your phone.
